She explains how she developed a guide for teachers showing what should be taught and in what order, and what specific Gizmo can help in that instruction. Melanie also discusses the creation of performance tasks—district-wide assessments given to all seventh and eighth grade students—that help teachers tailor their instruction based on the data received from them.
